Vishal Shinde PhD
Strategic Allie and Research Director with Growers Research and Innovation Network (GRIN)
Right from the beginning, Vishal’s interests were rooted in agriculture having spent his formative years on the family farm. After completing his master's in Agrochemicals and Pest Management Vishal pursued a PhD in biological pest management (Entomology). Following this, he spent a decade working at the world’s largest sugarcane research institute which then brought him to a post-doctoral position at UC Berkeley for research in strawberries.
He brings to the team his Masters in Agrochemicals, a Doctorate in Pest Management, and a doctorate in Plant Pathology. These studies have led him to learn more about agronomy with respect to soil science, fertility, biostimulants, and environmental sciences during his 15 years of tenure working as a contract researcher in California and other states.

Regulatory and Product Registration Specialist
Sofia has 9 + years in Agriculture and Information Technology. In that time she has worked extensively on products that reduce growers’ reliance on synthetic nitrogen and phosphate inputs. She specializes in working across multiple verticals including R&D, business development, and regulatory compliance.
